Back to Fall

Blazer: F21
Cardigan: H&M
Skirt: H&M
Mary Jane: Cooperative

This was taken on the last day of November...I'm still trying to upload all the photos I have taken.  I wanted to be in the spirit of fall and thought this skirt would be appropriate for the season. To tell you the truth when I saw this skirt I was thinking "this is different, not a lot of people would wear orange", but then I became reluctant to wear it outside.  I felt it was too bright and out of the ordinary, which was my intention in the first place.  I was more worried about getting looks and attention (the bad kind).  But part of me felt that I should not care and not worry so much.

If you could choose a decade to live in which one would it be?  I have always been into the 1920s-1960s, but I cannot choose one.   There are times where I like to incorporate certain items that remind me one of these decades because of a certain nostalgia and mystique that you rarely see.

Preppy plaid

Blazer: TRF
Shorts: Gap
Sweater: H&M
Boots: F21
Flats: Cooperative
Purse: Coach

Heels or flats?  Sometimes I tend to lose track of time when I am trying to figure out what shoes to wear to go with what I am wearing that day and it is a battle between that and convenience.  So, I will bring extra shoes just in case I get uncomfortable.  I wore this outfit on two occasions last month.  FIrst half of the photos I am wearing these lace up boots from forever 21 and the other half are bow flats made from Cooperative.  I was inspired by this ad from Brooks Brothers that I saw a few years ago while I was out getting coffee and I loved how preppy and feminine it was.

Christmas Eve

Dress: Cooperative
Tights: Target
Heels: Deena & Ozzy
Purse: Vintage

I wore this to a traditional family gathering on Christmas eve and was already planning on wearing red tights instead of the traditional red dress which  I'm glad worked out.  I was actually trying to take pictures before the sunset and these were the ones that I liked.

Since I come from a big family, we all meet at my grandmas house and exchange gifts on midnight.  I like this time of year because of spending time with my family and pig out on all the food that other family members bring, play games, and figuring out who was your secret santa.

Christmas Day

Went here on Christmas day again.  I was pretty surprised that they were open and the amount of people that attended.  If it was for me I would have had a Christmas party, but everyone in my family celebrates on the eve of Christmas.  I was making the most of it and had to get the hot chocolate again...
