Live and Let Die

"I'm nervous," this is what I was saying on the way to Outside Lands.  I was overwhelmed when I first stepped foot onto the field.  This was my first time at Outside Lands, and it took me awhile to get used to the event.  We planned on watching Paul McCartney that evening, so as we waited, we walked through the crowd  taking it all in. We passed some cool artists working on their artwork and many other works of art that were already displayed. Stands had food that would look very appetizing even when you're not hungry.  I only had a burrito though and hot coffee later in the night to warm me up in the cold weather of San Francisco.

Taking a decent photo here was a little difficult.  I tried my best to capture the windmill "Outside Lands" sign, but I never expected that some people would purposely "photo bomb" while taking a photo. With the crowd expected to reach in thousands, I had to expect that. So, coming right when the gates open would probably have been a little easier.

I came here without expecting anything.  Even though I only know Paul McCartney and the music of the Beatles through my dad when he used to play it all the time while dropping us off to school, I can appreciate that he is a living legend and one of two Beatles left.  I can't really describe the feeling as I watched Paul McCartney play and being surrounded by devoted fans who listened to him since the 60s, but I can say that it made me smile.  I know it sounds corny, but live music that is being played by your favorite artist and being surrounded by those who are devoted fans is different compared to listening in your car.

Smoothies and Dinner (Back to Summer 2012)

Pants: H&M
Top: Thrifted
Shoes: Mossimo

As promised, another post for today. You're probably getting tired of seeing the same wedge sandals, because I kind of am (half joking)...I bought these trousers to change up wearing jeans all the time.  Yes, I wear jeans almost everyday.  This actually reminds me of the time in high school when someone said, "she wears jeans everyday," as I walked by. Sounds silly...because who doesn't?

I'll be posting past and present photos here and there.  I'm figuring out if I should post all photos from last year at once or just once a week on Thursdays (throwback thursdays). Don't worry you won't see any baby pictures.  I'll leave instagram to do that.  Also as a warning there will be photos from past months.  At least these would be more recent.  I just don't want anyone thinking why there are Easter photos...

What time is it? (Back to Summer 2012)

A really quick post of another past summer outfit. Really trying to keep this up and may post another one after this.

Happy Thursday!

To the Faire (Back to Summer 2012)

Cardigan: BDG
Jeans: Old Navy
Hat: Urban Outfitters
Purse: H&M

I didn't go to the faire this year, but looking back at photos makes me want to go back just to try all the other food, which means all the other flavors besides the fried oreo. I don't have it all the time, plus this was my first time trying it, so don't judge me... I'm not much for playing games and the rides either. It was just to experience going to a county faire, which felt like going to a small amusement park, but bigger than a carnival.  Although I rode on the swing, it made me feel tense. As I got older, I tend to think all these negative situations, which makes me nervous every time I  go on a ride. But I relaxed a bit and enjoyed the view from above even though it felt forever. I'm just glad I tried it.
